Pros

The management team at @road was high quality. They listen and really care about their employees. They really had talent for hiring some great people!! I would still be there if Trimble did not buy them.

Cons

One of the main call centers is in India and a lot of complaints. Otherwise no other issues!

Advice to Management

I wish Trimble did not buy @road. I really enjoyed the team we had there at @road.

    Pros

Trinmble offers good vacation time and stock options. They also have a pleasant work atompsohere. Employees and management are easy to work with.

    Cons

New benefit plan is not that great. Annual Raises has been put on hold because of the economy until things turn around.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees because they have more experience than the management team, which spends most of there time in meetings or on conference calls.

    Pros

Consistant growth, great projects, new technologies, comparably less red tape, easy atmosphere to work in, transparency in decisions, travel opportunities

    Cons

The IT group I am in is small, so opportunities for advancement are limited. This doesn't seem to be the case in general, but is something to consider.

    Advice to Management

Recent growth seems to be by aquisition, which has not always worked out lately. Perhaps internal investment would be more successful.
