Pros

Trinchero is a leader in the wine industry and had a wide portfolio of wines.
Family ownership.
Environmental consciousness.
Good benefits.
The company is excelling right now, while many others in the industry are struggling.

Cons

Salaries could be higher (but this is compensated by benefits like generous profit sharing).

Advice to Management

Communicate more often.
In the last 2 or so years, we have seemed to be more progressive in some of the support departments (IT, HR, etc) which has been a good thing for productivity and quality of work. Keep it up.

I have been working at Trinchero Family Estates as an intern

    Pros

Positive, helpful environment. Good discounts on wine and tastings. Good benefits if going full time. Company that is rapidly growing! Great experience interning

    Cons

Nothing bad to say at this time.

    Pros

excellence in benefits as well as severance policy

    Cons

Disruptive and micromanaging in my department. Supervisor unaware of position's full work load and not able to fully support training. The company terminated a hardworking person before a customary probationary period had passed to my shock. I have heard this may occur more frequently than one would hope to hear about.

    Advice to Management
