I have been working at Triumph Motorcycles full-time for less than a year

    Pros

No nonsense, straightforward, honest place to work Finish at lunchtime on Fridays Pay well Discounts on bikes and clothing Products are works of art Pride in saying you work here

    Cons

Some areas of the business are a little old fashioned in terms of management style Business has a tendency to run in functional silos Good at dealing with under performers, not so good at rewarding over performers

    Advice to Management

Culture needs some work Learn to trust that employees will do the right thing Make a better link between performance and reward, empower and engage workforce. Stop being so self critical, celebrate success

    I worked at Triumph Motorcycles

    Pros

I worked for Triumph Motorcycles of America in Atlanta (US Subsidiary). It is a small team and fun culture. Work hard play hard climate. Great benefits, excellent products (motorcycles!) and a loyal tight-nit team.

    Cons

Since it is a small team, people are expected to wear many hats. I was fine with this but some people may not be. Communication could use some improvement and at times things could feel a bit disorganized.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you know your team's strengths and skills to leverage them properly so that no one is over taxed or under utilized. Other than that, keep up the good work!

I worked at Triumph Motorcycles full-time

    Pros

Good location. There is a five word minimum in this field.

    Cons

Most decisions made in UK. Which means lots of reactionary bureaucracy. Good ol boys...
