Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at TruGreen full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Opportunity for sales. 10%-15% commission. Decent base wage. Monthly retention. Not an extra high pressure job.

Cons

See the above. Sales can be hit and miss. Constant winter layoffs. OT sometimes restricted

Advice to Management

Stick to the plan. Changing constantly and not allowing plans enough time to determine if they'll really work or not.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at TruGreen full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The base pay wasnt bad, and commission plus bonus incentives were appealing.

    Cons

Poor training. I needed to learn more about how to SELL and not as much about WHAT I was selling. The stress and anxiety from being a less than desirable salesperson compounded since weak earners were focus of daily meetings. I became more and more mentally and physically unwell, and could not take enough time off to be treated properly. They DO NOT handle mental illness very well. I eventually was forced to quit.

    Advice to Management

Everyone is NOT a salesperson. Some of your best employees shouldn't feel pressured to compete with those who are new or are not as skilled. That makes "losers" truly feel like "losers". Focus more on teamwork rather than individuals.
