I have been working at TruGreen full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

A lot of tenured employees

Cons

Short term thinking by management finds them being reactive instead of pro active.

I have been working at TruGreen full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good product, Plenty of money to be made.

    Cons

Disorganized Sales Manger, Preferential treatment to others, negative outlook by most employees whom remain after 90 days. Constant fear of job loss used as scare tactic. Oh and expect to use your own vehicle with only .20 a mile that barley covers gas and NO REPAIRS. A lot of money needed in gas until you receive check. New Hires typically have issue receiving first check.

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone equally, with more organized direction. Focus on positive serf-esteem boosting, management practices where people aren't constantly fearing getting fired, and excited about what they will earn.

I worked at TruGreen full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only good thing about working at TruGreen is leaving it in your rear view mirror

    Cons

Constantly misleading employees, promising 1/2 day Saturdays, lower sales quotas, only to continually tell the staff that they missed the number (regardless of performance) and that they will have to work until 6:00 on Saturday, instead of noon as promised. Sales people have to birddog their commissions to make sure they get paid properly. More weeks with problems than without. Management does not care and does not stand up for their sales staff. Rather - constant brow beating to get better numbers.

The company talks about doing the right thing, but lies and misleads its customers as badly as it does to its staff. No concern at all for customer complaints, does not honor Do Not Call registries, badgers both existing and cancelled customers with constant telemarketing, and does not honor its commitment to customers to make good on damaged lawns, or ineffective applications.

    Simply - a dishonest company.

    Advice to Management

There is no advice that can be given a management structure that is so dishonest, and treats its staff and its customers with such disrespect.
