Pros

Many job opportunities across the US. Variety of diiferent jobs throughout the company, including jobs that are promoted from within the company.

Cons

Currently unstable work environment. Company is "top heavy" with management staff. Temporary labor jobs are very susceptable to local economy, causing job loss through branch closures to be very common in the cuurent job market in mosr areas of the country.

Advice to Management

Downsize upper management, upsize branch and field operations staff. Many branches are undetr staffed, creating a situation where we don't have the resources to get the work, but we need the work to keep the workers. It seems a mystery to many field staff just what some upper management people actually do. Don't cut back on the essentials in order to keep the expendables.

I have been working at TrueBlue full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Cool new coffee mug and water bottle. HOORAY!

    Cons

    "merit" raises are a joke.
    Incredibly high turnover
you have done northing to improve this company
Managers illegally tell employees they cannot talk about wages or face termination
Bonus structure will make you laugh hysterically. And this is a multi-billion dollar company

    Advice to Management

You might want to take a look at PeopleScout, and more specifically the management on the Sysco team if you really want to see unprofessionalism at it's finest, and favoritism running rampant. Two managers and they weren't the two managers that needed to quit. The ones that are there show favoritism by having inappropriate relationships with people they hire, and promoting their friends. It's ridiculous. Don't buy the company just to line your pockets with a "glorious RPO" - actually make Seaton, and especially Peoplescout, a better place. Do something.
