Pros

Worked here for a summer position. It was great to be on campus all year round, having access to the library, gym and easy commute to Boston proper.
Nice place to work and the people are great. But I suppose that could change with each different position that you apply for. They are very fair with accomodations when you need time off and scheduling. I did this during my Junion/Senior year and wish I would have started during my Freshman year.
Look out for who you want to work for and apply early for the positions. They go fast.

Cons

I really enjoyed myself. .

    Pros

as an engineering grad student with a sponsored research project, i was made to feel like a valuable member of the team. my advisors allowed me to participate in all decisions involving my research. all the advantages of being on a college campus also applied.

    Cons

as a grad student, you will not be paid well and, in my case anyway, my advisors tended to lose sight of the fact that low pay and an expensive area to live can be trying. the student health insurance is poor. you have no defined vacation or sick days. you will be given all sorts of crappy little jobs at the last second - "the deadline for submitting a paper is this afternoon! drop everything you're doing and take care of it!"

    Advice to Management

more defined policies on vacation, sick time, etc would be helpful for everyone.
