I worked at Turner Broadcasting as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Get to see the new shows happening. Feels like a college campus. Sometimes you see famous people walking around.

    Cons

If you want to get in with the company it is very very difficult. I was freelancing as a contractor for almost two years and could not get a full time job there, even though I was sort of working there already.

    Advice to Management

Take a better look at inside job applicants!

I worked at Turner Broadcasting full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, great brands and so much possibility and resources untapped

    Cons

Inexperienced upper management in certain divisions. Promotions not corresponding to performance based results. Reactive vs Proactive mentality

    Advice to Management

Look in depth into the work of managers and directors which are key in the communication between non management employees and upper management. maybe do 360s at the end of each year
