Pros

Fun atmosphere for summer internship which offered good exposure to various departments. As an intern I had little responsibility or opportunity to display any kind of proficiency, though that may have been different in for other interns.

Cons

No pay, no pay, no pay. Other than that, an ok experience and a good excuse to live in Hermosa for the summer and commute to LA.

Advice to Management

There may have been advancement opportunities, though I did not come across any. Opportunities seemed very limited for those looking to break into creative roles.

    Pros

The dry cleaners is great and the prepaid lunch cards are pretty cool and convenient for quick payments and discounts. There are several opportunities to donate to charitable organizations. Benefits and paid days off are comparable to most other major studios.

    Cons

Known for being one of the lowest, if not the lowest paying studio in the entertainment industry. There is not a lot of room for growth and many people hold their same position/titles for quite some time. The corporate culture is very challenging and there is not much executive support in terms of being empowered to make decisions or taking ownership of your job responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Micromanaging and disrespect are not effective management tools. Value your employees.

    Cons
