I have been working at Twitter as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

While the perks are obviously fantastic, and nothing beats working on a new MacBook, having access to talented people while working in a relaxed environment really lets me be comfortable and productive. The several Hack Weeks we have throughout the year also let me explore different technologies and even play with some hardware.

Cons

Occasionally, the work environment is too casual, and it is easy to get distracted throughout the day (if that's considered a con).

    Cons

    - Inexperienced management, specially the middle tier
    - Slow execution and too much politics
    - Promotion is hard to come by, unless you are one of those chosen ones
    - Having a hard time recruiting good candidates and so it is full of mediocre engineers and recent grads
    - Competition in social media space is getting tough and Twitter is not positioned to stay relevant for long due to the way it executes
