Pros

Well trained, skilled professionals given challenging work. Lots of historical issues that must be faced in day to day situations.

Cons

Very top down management that makes it at times feel too bureaucratic. Also, can lead to a lack of great communication.

Advice to Management

Do more to have management appreciate importance of mentoring, employee feedback, and development so that all levels feel greater opportunity for growth

    Pros

    Being a conglomerate, Tyco exposes you to a very diverse sets of industries. Employees are very friendly and work life balance is good as well.

    Cons

    Not much resources are spent on training and development, as such your career trajectory is solely in your own hands.

    Advice to Management

    Various Tyco businesses still have a lot of scope to leverage synergies through a closer collaboration, something which can benefit everyone.

    Pros

    Many valuable trainings. Company strictly respects local labor law. No problem with salary and other payments. Overall honest to employee.

    Cons

    To many activities towards "Visual Factory" without thinking about balance between costs and benefits. All actions taken seemed to be only to make a mark on the checklist.

    Advice to Management

    Please do not think only about “Stars” or frequently check how your site managers understood this idea. Sometimes some people will try to get more stars without comparing costs and benefits.
