I worked at U-Haul part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Less restricted and less monitored working habits.
Most locations do not monitor employees dress with congruence to corporate code.
Unity among staff promoted teamwork.
Always work to do.

Cons

Zero control over distribution of hours, regardless of work experience or knowledge.
Unfair favor shown to other associates.
Management's one goal is to delegate all of their responsibilities to their staff.
Frequency of associate favoritism by management across multiple locations is extremely high.
Problems will likely not see solution as company issues begin high in leadership and infect downward.

Advice to Management

Distribute responsibilities more fairly.

    I worked at U-Haul part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work from Home, decent income during the busy times.

    Cons

Customers are very unhappy and stressed because they are moving. If they were explained things more they wouldn't be. Most of the consultants will hang up if they can't answer a caller questions because they want to get their commission. Lot's of technical problems with the computers at corporate that are outside of your control and then you loose commissions as a result. They don't give you the hours you request, and I was pretty open. All I wanted was to have two days off a week together for at least half the month. They didn't need to be weekends.

    Advice to Management

Keep the good employee's who care about the customers even if they have technical challenges outside of their control due to the purchase of a new home.

It's a sales position, so you will get the expected in this position

    Advice to Management
