Cons

Not team oriented, too political. Some individuals in power make decisions that cause untold harm to profitability and higher ups seem blind to this. No solution in sight.

    Pros

Interning at UBS is a great opportunity to see how a top tier financial firm operates. If you work in the right WM group, you will learn a lot about the business.

    Cons

Experience completely depends on the office you are assigned to work with. You could get stuck with a jerk boss who makes you cold call from 9 to 5 (or even longer). Or you can have a great office to work in where you will actually do some finance stuff and learn.

    Advice to Management

    Don't take yourselves too seriously.

    Pros

Unique opportunity for growth whereyou can continue to acquire skills and to develop your career. Exciting and challenging working environment. Limitless opportunities.

    Cons

The firm is generally very thinly staffed. When it works well, it provides for a rich and intense experience, rapid learning, great advancement in exposure and responsibility.

    Advice to Management

Be very careful about resource levels. The longer term cost to the organization from stretching people. too far will far outweigh .
