No opinion of CEO

I worked at UC San Diego part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Lots of opportunities for research in many different fields.

Cons

This is not necessarily a con, but more a piece of advice. You must speak up if you are looking for more opportunities or responsibilities. If you are afraid to ask, then most likely you will not be given the opportunity for your own project.

I have been working at UC San Diego part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good side benefits for student employees - priority registration is very useful. Decent compensation. Mostly functional leadership. Lots of good people.

    Cons

The parking situation is lousy, regardless of your level of employment. Hours limits for students. Sometimes the amount of bureaucracy can be annoying.

    Advice to Management

Try to streamline your decision-making process for increased efficiency. Open your ears to suggestions from employees and other levels of management.
