I worked at UCLA Health part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Very impressive resume builder, several opportunities to learn about the health care field

Cons

Limited funding makes it difficult to pay undergraduate students. Most are volunteers or work-study

You come into contact with people who really benefit from the work you do.

I have been working at UCLA Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Workplace environment great (most coworkers are friendly and inviting and practice the company's "CI-CARE", guidelines on how you should treat patients and everyone around you), prestige comes with the name, great location, salary a bit higher than average,

    Cons

Sometimes the "higher-ups" don't listen to their employees or take them for granted; feels like understaffed often

    Advice to Management

Listening to your employees goes a long way in workplace satisfaction.
