    Unfair to long-term employees

    Pros

PTO, benefits. Well known bank. Wonderful grieving time. Some individuals care for individuals. You have the opportunity to get to know your co-workers.

    Cons

Call nights. Literally cold calling people from 4:30-6:00pm. Interrupting people during their dinners just to try and sell credit cards. Very embarrassing and largely unsuccessful. Poor management. Managers giving one full time employee a 49 hour work week and another employee 35. Making it impossible to get a 38 hour work week without working a Saturday while others get 40 hours every week and don't work Saturdays. Pushing good employees out. Firing a very good employee with the track record to back things up while the lesser worker (a male) stays with a higher "rating." Management cried while firing because they couldn't explain why they had to fire.

    Pros

Love working here, great work life balance. Very flexible and great benefits.

    Cons

Would love to see more emphasis in quality hardware, especially for teams that need lots of computing power.

    Excellent Company with Great Benefits

    Pros

Really great friendly work environment. Easy to make connections. The team you work with becomes like a family and typically they love to try to help you grow in your career and move forward into other career paths if that's what you're interested. The pay is better than most other banks and since they're a mid-size bank they don't push sales as much and aren't super shady about what's happening behind the scenes. They're very involved in community improvement etc. It's an excellent entry-level job for anyone looking to move into a more 'professional' career.

    Cons

Small teams means you see the same people ALL DAY EVERY DAY. If you have issues with other workers or they aren't pulling their weight then the job can be awful. Depending on the branch it can be very busy and stressful. The universal system means you need to know EVERYTHING about being a teller and a banker and the amount of knowledge necessary can be overwhelming, especially when even small errors can be a big deal. There can aslo be a bit of 'favoritism' where the managers allow some people to get away with murder while demanding so much more out of everyone else. The opportunities to move up depend a lot on your relationship with you manager so that can be a pro or a con depending on your manager and your personality.
