Pros

Great work out, fun people to work with (so far anyway), and a chance to accomplish something great!

Cons

Everyone wants you to become a part time supervisor... I am not so sure about this route...

Advice to Management

To accomplish the greatest tasks, positivity and a smile go much further than anger and aggression.

    Pros

Good benefits if you stay a while, nice people to work with at times.Always fun to load the truck that delivers to your own neighborhood!

    Cons

The distribution center manager is so nice! So are some of the shift supervisors, but they are very pushy! Every misload (getting a package in the wrong truck) which is bound to happen with 2000+ packages a day, they take personally and you seriously end up not caring. Early hours, alot of pay taken out of the paycheck, and it is hot and sweaty!!! ... If you tell them it's just for the summer, they wont hire you.. theyre looking for full time permanent part time loaders, but I can't do it during school!

    Advice to Management

Supervisors need to step up their game and need an attitude adjustment!

    Pros

Stock, Benefits, Promotion from within, Positive work enviroment, endless opportunity. You basically run your own business within ups and if you are self-motivated this is the job for you.

    Cons

It can be overwhelming at times. You are held to high standards and sometimes it is difficult to sell in areas that are natural decliners.

    Advice to Management

Continue to match the 401k and increase stock dividends every year. You're doing a great job of keeping the company afloat in this uncertain economy.
