Pros

UPS is a great company to work for. Job security is not even an issue. You know the senior management team in Atlanta is solid and knows how to steer the company through a resession. The company is over 100 years old so they have weathered many storms. The benefits are among the top in the industry, and there are plenty of advancement opportunities if you commit yourself to the company.

Cons

They demand a lot of your time. You often work overtime and don't get paid. You are expected to work hard no matter what. You must deliver results. Anything less than plan is unacceptable.

Advice to Management

Keep running things efficiently and steer us through this recession. We are very grateful to not have any job cuts or pay cuts.

    Pros

great pay,and benefits and strong union to protect jobs. promotes from with in the company.

best way to get around the union is to document everything on every employee and just say they are not fallowing methods and make sure that you review with the employess daily and continue to be on them to get the production levels that the company demands.

    Cons

coporate management getting to involved in operations. union getting to involve, union memebers work slower losing the company money. also people dont take pride in their work unless they are management.

    Advice to Management

stay more focused on our buildings problems and i.e. problems not on other buildings and past expeirences.
