I worked at UPS part-time (More than a year)

Pros

short hours, 3.5 to 4.5 hrs a day 5 days a week on set schedule with opportunity for double shifts. good pay, good benefits

Cons

work in extreme cold or hot weather isnt fun

Advice to Management

would recommend better heaters for winter and better fans or cooling systems for summer

    people are friendly and down to earth.
    good pay and benefits
    prestige
    offer a lot of experience

    Cons

    hours can be harsh either early or late
    bureaucratic there are a lot of rules and protocols (necessary but can get annoying)

    Advice to Management

    be sure to take the job seriously. Memorize the safety stuff its important to the company.
    "Safety" is the magic word always focus on it as much as productivity if not more. but don't lose your job because you don't get work done.

    Pros

    great salary structure (reviews and raises)
    good salaries and descent benefits
    Developing great work ethic
    Well structured, clear chain of command

    Cons

    Not enough intellectual stimulus
    physical labor required of management every holiday period and during operation hardships
    stressful work environment
    rotations accross facilities in the district are expected and can very far from home
    24/7 operation, management can be subjected to work rotations at any shift

    Advice to Management

    It is uncommon to expect people with higher education to endure physical labor as part of their work structure. By eliminating this part
