Cons

customers don't realize your on a time schedule and seem to think your the only truck in their area with their package and there is 6 other trucks in the same area . .some days you don't know how many hours your going to be doing daily..if you don't drive and depend on the city bus it sucks

I have been working at UPS part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, dollar raise every three months, a lot of advancement opportunity, great benefits, and good hours depending on who you are.

    Cons

Starting pay is not high enough to keep people, management constantly contradicts themselves, a lot of stress because you are expected to perform flawlessly no matter the amount of work you are given, and you are expected to be able to perform any job on your shift even if it is not your job title or you have not received any training in that area.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time getting to know employees, the building manager still does not know my name and refers to me as "hey you" after more than a year of working there. I believe that there are a lot of communication issues between the shift supervisor and the building supervisor, because they never seem to know who is doing what and why.
