Positive Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at UPS full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Our Legacy, Our People, Our Promise....
* Excellent Benefits (Expecially for the unionized workforce, More than Great Benefits, not quite as Excellent, for the management team
* Job Security
*Safety Focus (Although we occasionally forget that this is more than a number, we are none the less committed)

Cons

Currently missing the much needed focus on our shared Legacy; We need Jim Casey to make the difficult decison...Profit or Culture? (Spoiler Alert: Culture is, and always will be, eduring!)

Advice to Management

Speak Up, Communicate, Train you Team, and finally..Understand that nothing, no goal, no number, not a single delivery can happen WITHOUT OUR PEOPLE.

    I worked at UPS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    The only reason to be in that company is the salary.

    Cons

    Too many to share. Bad management, wrong approach in treating new employees. Absolutely no training when moving from one department to another. Management simply dont care, you are left on your own, begging for information about the project, documentation, even your job assignment. No guidance at all.

    Advice to Management

    Management should have been real professionals in Computer Science, not promoted managers from the package distribution centers.
