I have been working at US Army Corps of Engineers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexable work hours ie, work your 8 hours sometime within the day, Decent pay; GS scale, so you know what you will make, good benefits, easy work

    Cons

no formal training for new hires which can be annoying having to ask various people questions all the time; especially when some seem put out that you are asking, or tell you wrong information. It can also be boring at times with little work to go around.
