I have been working at US Army full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Job security, medical benefits package, uniform allowance, promotion opportunities.

Cons

Away from the family weeks, months, even years. Future health problems due to experiences encountered in the battlefield.

Advice to Management

provide service members with in depth details of on going events. recognizing symptoms of depression, improve on communication no matter how small the situation may be.

    Free Stuff, get to travel, leadership experience, and builds discipline.

    Cons

    Lots of traveling to crappy countries, you could die, they treat you like crap and feed you crap.
