The military is a great starter for those who are unsure of what they want to do after high school. it is also a great place to fall on if unsure where life has taken you. There is great opportunity in the military within and towards outside goals. there are many door that can open to a person who is willing to walk through them

    Cons

Many of the hardships you may endure in a military setting will test your every sense. must have the ability to maintain a focused mind and body

    Advice to Management

the leadership role in the military sometimes is placed on those who do not deserve it nor are they ready for it. assure that those who you place in such roles are capable of their duties.

I have been working at US Army full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Working in Army acquisition was one of the best career choices I ever made. Depending on the program you are working with, you have the opportunity to make an impact on Soldiers today and in the future.

    Cons

I honestly cannot think of any downside to Army acquisition. You have a clear path to transfer to the private sector, or stay with the Govt, when it is time to retire. Other than a difficult boss, which is true with any job, there is no downside.
