I have been working at US Army full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Noble, honorable profession with some of the greatest people in the world.

    Cons

Red tape, bureaucracy, and all the typical "government" problems of working in a centralized system. Unless you attain a very high rank, you will be treated like a kid.

    Advice to Management

While this won't change anything, they should be more flexible and open to other ideas. Move quicker, become more efficient, and trim the fat.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at US Army full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work life balance can be good depending on locality. Many job areas to consider and choose from from technology to healthcare

    Cons

Advancement depends on your job field. Be careful when selected an MOS for first enlistment as it may be a long time before you can get out. If you don't get the MOs you want based on ASVAB, do not enlist.

    Advice to Management
