Pros

Being a part of the Army is a very rewarding career. The pay and benefits allow you to live a comfortable life style. Job security. Consistent pay and health benefits for the soldiers and family members.

Cons

The time spent away from home due to deployments and training excercises. Not always a predictable work schedule.

Advice to Management

Dont forget that at some point you were a new soldier or a young NCO/Junior Officer.

    Stress from deployed combat
Single soldier living in barracks forced to eat at dining hall BAS I was screwed out of
Singles receive no family separation pay
May be forced to work through meals and not get a break
Enlisted soldiers are second class citizens
Singles are discriminated against through less pay
    24-7 job/ It never stops
Work life balance is very skewed
    No paid overtime
Can be stuck in an area with almost no redeeming qualities
