I have been working at US Army full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

In terms of professional growth, few opportunities can complete. My 5 years in the Army resulted in enormous personal growth and development.

    Cons

At times long hours, time away from home, and possibly poor location depdending on where you're statationed. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons.

I have been working at US Army full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There are many opportunities for advancement, education and travel. Without joining the Army, I wouldn't have been to travel to different places and experience different cultures.

    Cons

At times we may have to work for long hours and every now and then deal with a disgruntled supervisor.

    Advice to Management

We are all in this together. Take care of your subordinates. Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
