    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at US Army full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Comradery, skills development, opportunity to do unique, amazing things, phenomenal benefits, great income- I'm high-school educated and within 5 years of enlistment was making $45k/yr- and that's not "fast-tracking" or being the perfect soldier.

    Cons

Protracted war make military service especially dangerous given multiple deployments over a few years of service. Recent drawdowns will increase the burden on soldiers remaining in the Armed Forces and further increase deployments overseas. Army life is not fitting for a family looking for stability and the divorce rate is well over the national average.
