I have been working at US Army full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Around trucks, and doing your job. Plenty of deployments and field problems.

    Cons

Unless there is a mission, we do nothing. By doing nothing it means sitting in the motorpool until 4-5pm, and them magically coming up with an urgent task that must be completed or we don't go home.

    Advice to Management

Quality over quantity. If the job can be done in an hour or so, why stay a full 10-12 hours at the work place. Generally that is a waste of taxpayer money, especially if we ever magically got compensated for overtime hours.
