Pros

Great benefits
Pay is competitive for comparative positions

Cons

Almost no family time, if you get some you are too tired to enjoy it.

Advice to Management

Truly care about your subordinates, stop worrying about what you can get out of what you are doing and focus on what you can do for your troops.

I worked at US Army full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The Army taught me discipline, responsibility, fortitude, and many other important life skills. You learn to get through and overcome obstacles no matter what. I developed friendships and trust in others like I had never known. If everyone could have an experience like this early in life, this country would be much better off.

    Cons

Never knowing where you will be next. Hard to have a family life.

    Advice to Management

Mentor the young. They are the future wether military or civilian
