    Pros

You get off for all of the major holidays as any Government worker would.

    Cons

Way too many politics for a hospital gift shop and food court.
You are not really helping Veterans, but they'll tell you that you are. They raise the prices too much for Vets to shop there.
They bring you on as a VC grade and you'll never get a GS unless you're in Central Office and they like you a lot.
If one person in Central Office doesn't like you, you're doomed to fail.
They have no respect for the Chiefs and Asst. Chief and especially not the workers in the Canteens.
No one at the top has ANY prior experience working in an actual Canteen store- so they don't know what it is like for those on the front lines.
They think they know what they are doing- but they don't. Too many projects going on and none of them work.
They do whatever they want and get away with it.
They speak down to people in the field and down grade their positions- when everyone at Central Office can make even more mistakes and are never punished.
They hand pick and pre-select those they want to move up- don't kid yourself thinking you'll get a job unless they've told you to apply for it or already told you that you got it.
It's a joke. Don't even apply. You'll rue the day that you did.
These people are just really weird that work in Central Office. It's just not normal.

    Advice to Management

There's this thing called KARMA and it'll catch up to you.
