I have been working at US Department of Veterans Affairs full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Supporting the Veteran experience is an honor. I come home each day feeling accomplished.

    Cons

It can be difficult to maneuver through the various obstacles that present itself when working within a structured chain of command in an a government agency with over 400,000 employees. But those difficulties can be overcome by intra and inter-office networking. Everyone has the same mission to support the Veteran experience, so it’s just a matter of working together to do so.
