Approves of CEO

I have been working at US Department of Veterans Affairs full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Veteran Patients, nice area, bottom has been reached

Cons

Administration does not have a plan. When things fall apart, they blame the staff. Things are swept under the rug because staff are fearful of administration.

Advice to Management

Repair relationships with staff by accepting responsibility and acknowledging part in plans gone awry. Slowly rebuild trust by including staff in decisions and making incremental changes with staff involvement. Avoid favoritism and refrain from repeatedly acknowledging the same few people and programs.
