    Pros

Best job security, appreciative patient, advance equipment ! , Federal pension 10 federal holidays, 8 days sick leave plus 22 days yearly vacation

    Cons

Annual review needs a lot of proof that you deserve it or else you wont get a raise! And for new employees you have to start from the bottom.

    Advice to Management

There are lots of experience nurses our in the private world that would really boost / replace our aging senior nurse! Try to reach out to them ! More advertisement needed! Here in VA good nurses will stay forever for tons of reason from job security, more room for advancement, good benefits, more family time and most of all, patient centered services without rushing patient in and out for PROFITS! We really do spend more time talking and explaining everything to our veterans! Real service!
