    Pros

Perfect to learn discipline, and self control. Gave me the ability to work under a deadline under stressful situations.

    Cons

You have to maintain an intense work ethic or you will be passed up. Its a very competitive work environment.

    Advice to Management

be patient, the majority that join are kids.

I worked at US Marine Corps full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent opportunities for training, but you generally have to find them yourself and push for them. There is tremendous flexibility in where you can work, and the types of work you can do. Educational benefits are available and should be taken advantage of, you'll need them when you leave.

    Cons

    Slow moving, bureaucratic, and inflexible.
The philosophy is reactive, jingoist, short-sighted, and does not foster creativity.

    Advice to Management

Adopt a more corporate management structure and develop an actual meritocracy vice promotion based heavily on seniority.
