Approves of CEO

Pros

Opportunity for significant leadership experience at a very early age as well as a clear career path for growth in responsibility.

Cons

The family seperation can be challenging, geographical rotations can also be difficult at times and advancement is generally regimented, you have to wait for your time.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Good salary and benefits which are important in this economy. Lots of cost and personnel cutting. As much travel as you want.

    Cons

A lot of cost cutting. Most common mantra is to do less with more. Fancy way of saying work harder and spend more time away from home.

    Advice to Management

You should have reduced O-5s and O-6s way before now. The personnel cutting you are doing is just going to lead to another T-notch. Everyone is promoted and makes command. Leading to poor COs. Why are so many being fired now? - because they never should have made command

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

The time off is flexible and I loved a compressed work schedule.

    Cons

The people you have to deal with are incompetent government workers, which is a stark contrast to some other places I have worked. It's too hard to get rid of a poor performer.

    Advice to Management

    Be timely.
