I have been working at US Navy full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It paid the bills and family, but your always gone and miss out on your children if you have any. A lot of broken promises and schooling.

    Cons

Do to economy and slow advancement, you might not make retirement. Tried going to school during active duty, just don't have the time to do it.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people when transitioning out. Make sure they got everything they need.
