I have been working at US Navy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Stable income, excellent benefits like medical and dental. You get the chance to not only perform your job but everyone else's job as well. I loved my job as an aviation ordnanceman (AO) but the military its self doesn't allow you to have an opinion. Traveling is a plus, Ive been to countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and more. Pay goes up when you advance.

    Cons

As stated earlier, no room for creativity or opinion. Schedules are forever changing. work hours are pretty long, especially on deployments. Advancement for enlisted members are based off of aptitude tests, manning of rate, and your evaluations that your supervisor give you. So even if you pass the test for advancement, there is a possiblility that you may not advance.

I have been working at US Navy full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The Navy is one of the easiest yet satisfying places to work. A great stepping stone, or career depending on your desires. Benefits are second to none.

    Cons

You are not paid for overtime. Assignments are hit and miss when you are new to the service.

    Advice to Management

Excellent place to hone your leadership skills in preparation for the workforce.
