Pros

People that work for USA Today tend to stay there for a long time due to the company offering a good work/life balance. The standard working weekly hours at 37.5 hours. Newspapers are provided for free and you can even read newspapers at work and no one would complain to you. They also have a decent gym (at low cost) that offers a free clothes-washing service. They also have a cafeteria that offers decent food (at low cost) right by their lake. During summer they offer steaks etc.

Cons

The low wage was the only negative thing to be working for USA Today. There really isn't any other negative aspect to work for this company other than the company losing its ground on advertisement due to revolution of the news on the internet.

Advice to Management

USA Today is a good company to be working for; however it needs to stay ahead of competition in order to survive. Furthermore, better salary should be given to its employees to keep competent employees

    Great co-workers, recognizable brand that is still well-liked, generally supportive of work-life balance.

    Cons

    Current senior management seems to be grasping for a strategy and has very little regard for employees. Communication is at an all time low and people are scared.

    Advice to Management

    You don't know everything, so stop thinking that you do.
