    Pros

Good benefits, good hours, pay is competitve for the area.

    Cons

stressful work environment. Company pretends to care about employees. Middle management has too much power over immediate subordinates. Had to sign a statement that employees would not sue the company.

    Advice to Management

    Lighten up.

I have been working at USAA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The benefits, as far as medical, dental and vision are amazing. The stability of the company is certainly not paralleled by many companies during this day and age. The military is one of the most valuable aspects of American society and they are truly a unique class of ladies and gentlemen. It is really nice to feel you've helped a young enlisted or officer who is about to deploy arrange their affairs and make sure their family is taken care of.

    Cons

The poor salary is not worth the amount of stress and aggravation. The structure of the claims department is baffling and is a breeding ground for more stress. When grown adults (managers) actually walk up and down the aisles telling everyone to go home at 630 pm there is a problem. They act as if people actually want to stay past their shift and don't have families of their own.

    Advice to Management

Rethink the internal structure of the claims department.
