Pros

Love the safe parking and security. Having everything you need under one roof was great. Gyms were nice. Food service was good too. Competitive pay and compensation for hard work. Excellent savings plan.

Cons

Politics of the corporate world are a bit bothersome - but you'll get that anywhere.

Advice to Management

Be more down to earth. Executive management shouldn't need to be worshiped - we're all working towards the same goals.

    Pros

Good benefits, quality employees, cafeteria on site

    Cons

Call center environment, not a lot of products options to offer clients for investments. Metrics change frequently and in mid year which make it difficult to run a book of business. Treat employees like children. They changed the wealth manager compensation package and reduced by 2/3. They changed it because they don't have the software program to track assets that a wealth manager brought in for the year. So assets coming in the door don't matter only products you sell. Once you get all the products you can out of a member, they are now dead weight. Recently took away the wealth specialist role which helped the wealth manager manage the book and on service issues. Now you have to tell your 10 million dollar client to call an 800 number and talk to someone they never have spoken to for service request. Have limited sales material and presentation material. All recommendations are cookie cutter. They don't allow CFP's to make recommendations on non USAA mutual funds or even on a members 401k plan.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. You are losing a lot of your young talent that will be missed in a couple of years. Stop pretending this is wealth management. It is not.

    Pros

Great benefits! On site gym, cafe, starbucks, company store, and covered parking

    Cons

great bonus but low base pay, limited growth depending on area

    Advice to Management

Quit stifling employees, I had a manager who was content with her position and didn't understand how those below her were not. So many people have been there for 15+,20+ years that are content with mediocracy but those less tenured are stuck behind them.
