Pros

Loved working there because the facilities are amazing - cafeterias, daycares, mini nurse stations - This company is great for people who have a desire to keep a good work/life balance. It's a GREAT place to work.

Cons

Its hard to think of anything I didn't like.

    Pros

Good Benefits, CEO is great person but he needs to realize more over what his management team is doing.

    Cons

They work you for the money that they pay you.

    Advice to Management

Management need to have training. You are on your own. You learn from your co-workers not management. You go to a manager and then a the manger will go to a team lead to get the answer.

  2. "Good company but the job itself was mentally exhausting."

I worked at USAA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great pay and bonuses. They make you think they care about their employees. Good benefits. Good system for providing innovative ideas.

    Cons

Terrible micro-management. VERY busy call volume with no time to breathe in between calls, with only a 30 min lunch and two 20 min breaks. Very high pressure from management to sell things to members, even when they have just reported an accident. If you can't do 20 things at once and sell stuff, don't even bother. Expect to know all days you want off by November of the year before when you bid for time off. Don't expect to get any holidays off until you have worked there for at least 5 years. The employees are only looking out for themselves and if you do something wrong, get ready to be tattled on to your manager and then be reprimanded like a 5 yr old.

    Advice to Management

Ease up on the referral pressure or you will lose a lot of employees. Also, quit with the micro-management...we are all adults and are tired of being treated like children. Fix the voicemail system, that is another thing that gets employees frustrated. 20 voicemails a day is way too many.
