Pros

They pay great bonuses, but they are across the board so it does not drive people to excel as they know that they will participate unless they do not get a "Meets Expectations"

Cons

If you are a woman and not former military, you will hit a glass ceiling faster than with other companies.

I worked at USAA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The office culture is strict and demanding. Onsite cafeteria, Java, daycare and gym. Personal growth depends on you. Most managers will help you succeed if you are willing to go the extra mile. The benefits are one of the best corporate has to offer

    Cons

The office culture is strict and demanding. Training is practical but not realistic. Leadership can be challenging depending on the manager's skills and knowledge.
