I have been working at USAContactPoint as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

Working at home is good for me and I make more with them than I have with other places that I have worked

Cons

It's not like you can take a break and meet your co-workers in the lunchroom. I used to like that but now I eat my lunch by myself at home

Advice to Management

I like the way you give us training at the beginning. Maybe more of that, like a refresher from time to time, would be a good thing

    Pros

    I love the training they give you to get started. I love how after a minute of a conversation you are already starting to make money. I love that I make my own schedule and if I can't make that schedule I don't have to worry about how many days I miss over my son being sick or just wanting to go out. I am my own boss.

    Cons

    I just hate some of the rude callers it makes for a long day.

    I have been working at USAContactPoint as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Easy application process
    Flexible hours-Make your own (no min. or max)
    Work from home

    Cons

    Poor management/employee communications (non-existent)
    Low wages often less then minimum wage and you have to pay self-employment tax out of it.
    No support. No responses to any support tickets and no telephone communication.
    Poor working portal. No running log of points with each call to cross check for errors which are ongoing.

    Advice to Management

    Improve communication process with employees, the forum does not work and if you don't have Vonage you cannot access it.
    Guarantee at least minimum wage plus 7.65% for Sel femployment tax.
    Upgrade portal and tracking of calls (time,points and rates).
    Respond to Tickets and/or acknowledge them.
