Go beyond the first circle of close confidents.. middle management is the most stagnant and overlooked community.
Look for transparency and cultivate the culture

I have been working at UST Global full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

As long as you are willing to bill more than you actually work, management will give affirmation when you exaggerate your efforts to the client.  You can collect your paycheck while giving little effort and have an easy way to lengthen your tenure in IT.

    Cons

No mentoring, no growth, and very few technical experts.  Subject matter experts are rarely promoted and rarely give accolades because they are shifted from project to project to often.  UST does not repay expenses.  You will spend about 2 to 3 thousand dollars a year in order to stay in the good graces of management.

    Advice to Management

Try transforming your employees lives for the better, not for the worse.
