wonderful resources - idea exchange/collaboration, faculty in various biological fields
comfortable working environment
highly focused institute for basic science/clinical research

Cons

campus is accessible to public...located close to downtown..not well secured
not much to do in the city, mostly working

Advice to Management

organization for graduate programs can be better improved.

    Pros

    there are good resourses that you can use to do good research, a basic research is really good, clinical is OK.

    Cons

    you get to be working very hard in order to get promotion, there is not funs in dallas and compus except working and working.

    Advice to Management

    increasing postdoctoral researcher's salary and giving them more career suggetions are high priority to do. freezing the salary is not good way to save the money, a good people will leave instead.

    Pros

    The best university in south central US. Cost of living in Dallas. Many labs are internationally recognized. Comfortable working conditions.

    Cons

    Intellectual interactions with the colleagues are limited. Smart people do not stay long. Hierarchical management. No support from university to stimulate intellectual development of employees

    Advice to Management

    Invite famous researcher to give lectures more often, treat all the employees with respect, retire the professors who do not contribute to the growth of the university, and hire a young promising scientists
