I worked at UW Medicine full-time (More than 5 years)

Decisions made so far up the food chain-and no input from those on the front lines

Advice to Management

Listen more to those who are on the firing line- impacted by critical decisions

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at UW Medicine full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Next to starbucks and the best burrito place ever

    Cons

No raises, horrible health insurance that is very expensive, dishonest management (terminated 3 of my fellow employees for no call no show over 4 months when they did in fact call in and appealed unemployment with their phone records and saved emails and won), no recognition when you work hard, constant turnover

    Advice to Management

Hire an honest office manager, treat your employees fairly and give fair wages annually instead of $.50 every 2-3 years!
