I worked at Ubisoft as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a fun and relaxed environment. You get to see and play games before they even come out. As an intern you get to have many responsibilities, which is good if you're hard-working and want to learn a lot.

    Cons

Interns are underpaid employees... A full-time job after your internship is not guaranteed even if you do a great job and your manager loves you.

"A great place to work, but not without its problems"

    Pros

The work/life balance is fantastic. Any long hours were there for a reason that made sense and didn't break employees. Lots of understanding about personal time (doctor appointments, kids needing to be picked up at school, etc.), so long as it didn't impact your work. Lots of great relationships formed with co-workers. Super fun events based on company IP to keep things interesting for employees.

    Cons

The same slow-moving processes you get at any big, international company that's been around for decades. Things don't move quickly - and in the current state of the industry, if you snooze, you lose.

    Advice to Management

Communications in the office are pretty good. Communications between offices could be better.
