No opinion of CEO

Pros

good benifits, but management think your benifits are for them! at this location its not what you know its who.

Cons

if your lucky and get a promotiion you will owe the loc. manager FOREVER. I work from 5:30 am to 7:30 pm or mabe 6:30 if your lucky.the manager set in the office mabe 4 hours a day and it kills them.

Advice to Management

learn how to lead or get out of the way.the corp. office would not believe the lack of customer focus

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

It is really good base income. They provide a nice car and mobile allowence. Some of the managers are very nice!

    Cons

They are liars and don't follow procedures. Customers were dissatisfied and the route drivers con people. Upper management is aweful. The factory workers are treated very poorly.

    Advice to Management

Do not lie to cover your mistakes. Too micro-managed and little direction is given in training. Top management needs work!

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Great for new sales reps to learn how to sell business to business, good solid work for route drivers, good products, good benefits, good money if at quota

    Cons

Toxic culture in many locations now (constant fear for job loss), little leadership across company, almost no diversity in managment, slow to implement anything new, does not value education

If you are a sales rep it is more important that you do your job their way than reach goal any other way. It is restrictive for those reps who have talent and do not need to rely on antiquated sales tactics.

    Advice to Management

Leadership needs to rethink its direction now. The world is changing and they are doing very little to get ahead in the industrial laundering marketplace. With all upper management being aging white males with the exact same work experience no fresh ideas enter the company. All fresh ideas from the lower ranks in the company are squashed. It is time the leadership of UniFirst took a proactive aproach to encouraging knowledge and innovation from its employees and embracing the change that comes from it.
