I have been working at Unisys as an intern

    Pros

As an intern, they provide you with plenty of training as you get started. In my department, they also provide you with a mentor who guides you along the way.

    Cons

So far, I haven't run into any major issues with either the position itself or any of my managers. I'll update my review.

I have been working at Unisys full-time

    Pros

Alot of training opportunities. The company training program is great. Fair work/life balance. Alot of experienced professionals. You can learn alot about new technology and programs quickly. Unisys is always trying to enter new markets with new technology.

    Cons

Unstable. Longterm employement depends on the companies ability to land new contracts. Work environment can be competitive for self preservation. Leadership has alot of good ideas but seems to be stuck in analysis paralysis and unable to deliver. There is an old school mentality to the company culture.

    Advice to Management

Utilize new and younger employees. Find ways to properly mentor and enable new employees to do more to help win business. Experienced employees don't have to do it all and they don't have to do things the same way that was done 10 years ago.
